Thirty-eight years in banking has taught me that the best part of this job is watching a family's plans become real.

I still think about the couple who came in wanting to build their dream home — we worked through their construction loan together, and they left with more than paperwork done, they left with a plan.

I still bank them today, and that's what keeps me here: decisions made by people who know you, not a call center.
